How to find us

Whangarei Museum & Kiwi House is located 2 hours north of Auckland and is only 5 minutes drive from Whangarei City centre.

    

We are clearly sign posted on State Highway 14 on the road to Dargaville or catch a bus from the city centre

Winter hours 1st May to 30th September 10am to 3pm
Summer hours 1st October to 30th April 10am to 4pm
Office hours 9am to 4.30pm daily
Closed Christmas Day and Boxing day
